Eichfelde (Debiny), Kreis Flatow, West Prussia
Eichfelde is village in Kreis Flatow. It consists of a collection of farms distributed
around one or two houses.
Luckily we discovered the local historians,
the Bonk family, in this village and had a great time finding out about the

The Remus family
lived in this part of Kreis Flatow
also. Of particular interest in this village was the family of Johan Remus and Maria Patzer, who was
from this village. Also of interest was the family of Peter Ewald
Bess, my great-great-great grandfather. His daughter Christine married Daniel Remus and produced my great grandfather August Wilhelm. Click here
