Zakrzewo, Kreis Flatow, West Prussia
Zakrzewo is a village between two villages associated with early members of the Remus family,
Ossowo and Schmirdau. This village's schultz was Sigismund Nehring who was related by marriage to the Remus family. The Catholic Church records contain no Remus events but the land records contain real estate transactions involving the Remus family of Ossowo. So I include the following picture of its lovely church and links to maps:
Today this village is a lovely suburb of the city of Flatow in old Kreis Flatow.
