Miller Carl Gottlieb Remus and his first wife Emilie Fiedler and second wife Auguste Einhorst lived in this village. He was a son of miller Michael Remus of Plotzmin, Kreis Deutsch Krone and had brothers Franz Wilhelm and Johan Michael who were millers in Krojanke, Kreis Flatow. It is not clear if Carl Gottlieb and his wives had children that lived. Here is a picture of the village:
