Boozen or Loosen (Loza)
Loza (Boozen or Loosen in German) is a manorial village just east of
Hammerstein in Schlochau. It is on a quiet back road with ruins of the manorial farm. The village was along both sides of the street (a strassendorf). This village came to my attention by virtue of the marriage of Peter Remus to Esther Juliane Zebell of this village in 1730. Her father's name Lorenz. This may be the second marriage of Peter Remus schultz of Zbosse.Here are pictures of the village:
