Alt Kischau (Stara Kiszewa), Kreis Berent, West Prussia

Alt Kischau is on the road between Konitz and Preuss Stargard; it is a village with a very nice church and a regional market. This church was the site of several baptisms from the Christian Remus family around 1800. Christian is the likely son of Adam Remus of nearby Miradowo. Descendents of Christian include the Schwonke family that migrated to America.

Alt Kishau is also very near the Gross Pallubin mill, an important location for the Carl Friedrich Remus family of millers. Here is a map of the area:
